This is an atmospheric jail museum experience offering visitors a glimpse of life in prisons of the past.As one of Ireland’s top tourist destinations, Wicklow Gaol tells the story of its prisoners through an interactive tour.The original Gaol Dungeon has been open over 100 years. There is a multi-media tour which is perfect for families and includes holographic projections of cruel prison guards, lifelike audio from the 1798 rebellion and interaction with the notorious inmates. There is a lovely Café or you can bring your own picnic and enjoy the picnic area.

Clara Lara Fun Park
Clara Lara Fun Park Wicklow is an outdoor adventure Park that is dedicated to providing healthy and creative fun for families and groups of children.There is lots here for all active ages in the Avonmore River valley with tree houses, Tarzan swings, rope bridges, rowing boats, water slides, rafts, canoes and junior go-carts. The Park is not suitable for groups with children above the age of 12 years: Admission will be refused to anyone over this age. Bring old shoes, change of clothes and a towel. You will get wet.
Powerscourt Waterfall Ireland’s Highest Waterfall
Visit Powerscourt Waterfall, the highest waterfall in Ireland at 121m (398ft.). The waterfall is set at the foothills of the Wicklow Mountains, 5km from Powerscourt House And Gardens. Stroll around the grounds with your family and friends. There is a vast amount of space to keep children entertained. There is also a refreshment kiosk, toilets and a playground for younger children.
