The Avon is situated at the start of the Wicklow Greenway and only a 30-minute drive from Dublin city and 40- miute drive from Dublin Airport. With views of the Blessington Lakes.
The Avon offers modern, spacious town houses. Each town house consists of 3 bedrooms, open living and a fully equipped kitchen and can accommodate from 2 to 10 persons.
There is A Dockers Bar looking out on the lake that offers quality food and service and a cafe perfectly positioned at the start of the Greenway.
The Avon Activity Centre offers Bike Hire with our fleet of Mountain & Hybrid bikes + Guided Tours, Kayaking from its very own Lakeshore Beach and in the Avon Arena there is Archery, Air Rifle Shooting, a Climbing Wall/Abseiling and Zipline.

This is an atmospheric jail museum experience offering visitors a glimpse of life in prisons of the past.As one of Ireland’s top tourist destinations, Wicklow Gaol tells the story of its prisoners through an interactive tour.The original Gaol Dungeon has been open over 100 years. There is a multi-media tour which is perfect for families and includes holographic projections of cruel prison guards, lifelike audio from the 1798 rebellion and interaction with the notorious inmates. Clara Lara Fun Park Wicklow is an outdoor adventure Park that is dedicated to providing healthy and creative fun for families and groups of children.There is lots here for all active ages in the Avonmore River valley with tree houses, Tarzan swings, rope bridges, rowing boats, water slides, rafts, canoes and junior go-carts. The Park is not suitable for groups with children above the age of 12 years: Admission will be refused to anyone over this age. Bring old shoes, change of clothes and a towel. You will get wet.
Powerscourt Waterfall Ireland’s Highest Waterfall
