Mitchelstown Caves Tipperary
Mitchelstown Caves in Co.Tipperary is considered one of the most spectacular caves in Ireland. The caves are amongst the finest Limestone caves in Europe, over 16 kms long and 5 kms wide. It is a spectacular place to visit and up to one 1 km deep. It has stalagmite and stalactite formations, the Tower of Babel standing 10 meters high. This place is a must see for everyone.

The Rock of Cashel
A spectacular group of Medieval buildings set on an outcrop of limestone including the 12th century round tower, High Cross and Romanesque Chapel, 13th century Gothic cathedral, 15th century Castle and the restored Hall of the Vicars Choral. Here you can experience an audio-visual show and exhibitions. Access for visitors with disabilities by prior arrangement.

The Heritage Centre Cashel
At the Heritage Centre you can investigate the rich heritage of Cashel, one of Ireland's most significant Ecclesiastical Centres. It provides the visitor with a series of changing exhibitions, a large- scale model of Cashel in the 1640's, highlighting the lesser-known treasures of the town. Also here you can see the Cashel Folk Village a series of reconstructions of various traditional Shops, a forge, and other businesses.

St Patrick's Well
It is off the main Cahir Clonmel road and has been a place of pilgrimage for years. This is a beautiful and tranquil place to visit. There are the remains of a 17th century church incorporating Romanesque fragments of an older church. In it are the remains of the altar tomb of Nicholas White of Clonmel (d. 1622). The water from the well supposedly has great healing powers . In the freshwater spring are the remains of a very early Christian cross.

Lough Derg
This is the largest lake on the River Shannon. Its 13,000 hectares stretch 35 km from Portumna at its northern tip to Killaloe/Ballina at the most southerly point, and 12 km at its widest point, from Scarriff on the western shore to Youghal Bay on the eastern side. The lake is accessible by slipways and sheltered harbours and marinas dotted around the shore line.Lough Derg is also know as Irelands pleasure lake because of its wide range of activity’s . Spend the day fishing, cycling, walking, cruising or relaxing on the lakes shores. The Water sport facilities are world-class. There is something for everyone in the family to enjoy.
